It was a fun one to write. I haven't read Henderson. Read your story. Beautifully written, and the POV is perfect; lots of writers (like me) struggle creating poignant stories from a small child's point of view. "Found" reminded me of Zenna Henderson's classic sci-fi stories about children. Are you familiar with her -- granted, very old -- work?

As a nit-picky CCer, I can't resist criticizing something, so here goes: under "Discarded Darlings," above, shouldn't it read "the adventures OF a writer..." Hee hee -- but that's me. I gotta pick! All the best luck with your writing. I loved it.

Feel free to stop by at "Belly-up!" and nit-pick my bouncing baby blog to death. When you're feeling better, of course!
-- Lindy Moone ("lindymoon" over at CC)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4955548665653773708.post-396707139250935452013-01-12T08:40:05.830-05:002013-01-12T08:40:05.830-05:00Thanks! :)Thanks! :)Jean Davishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02047709505502621618noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4955548665653773708.post-52912103695181901162013-01-11T17:36:26.117-05:002013-01-11T17:36:26.117-05:00Congratulations on getting your story published.
